I booked through Maze Rooms, and when I got to the hotel, the room still wasn’t ready. The front desk kept telling me it would be “just a bit longer,” but that turned into me sitting around with my bags and no real idea of when I’d actually be able to check in.
I understand that delays happen, but nobody really tried to help or give me a proper update. After traveling all day, it was frustrating. Not saying it’s a scam, but if this is how their bookings usually go, I wouldn’t use them again.

I’m new to escape rooms, so I was hoping this site would actually help me get started, especially since it seemed like it was supposed to be beginner-friendly. But it was just confusing. I couldn’t figure out where to start or what half the stuff even meant. It felt like they promised something easy for newcomers and then built it for people who already know exactly what they’re doing.

I gave it a shot, but the puzzle variety just wasn’t there for me. Most of the rooms felt like the same locks and codes again and again, only with different decorations around them. I got bored quickly... just didn’t feel worth it to me.

I went to a private event here it felt really unorganized from the start. The communication wasn’t great, and things just didn’t seem to be handled well. For a private event, I expected a lot more coordination, so the whole situation was kind of ridiculous.

The puzzles themselves might be fine for some people, but the overall design made it hard for me to get into it. It felt less like a real escape room theme and more like a school project, so for the price, I wouldn’t say it was worth it

I wouldn’t use it unless they explain those protections much more clearly...

It was okay, but if you’re coming with a bigger group, it might feel kind of cramped. We just didn’t have as much space as we expected.

The staff weren’t rude or anything, but I did feel a little dismissed, like my experience didn’t really matter much. Overall, it just didn’t leave much of an impression.

As someone who really values a cozy room when I’m traveling, this stay just didn’t hit the mark for me. The bed felt hard, and the room got stuffy at night, which made it hard to fully relax. It was fine for a quick one-night stay, but I wouldn’t call it comfortable.
